DESCRIPTION:

  • Denfil has an unusually low release of monomers and excellent handling properties, helping to carry out restorations at a high professional level. There is a large scale of colors for this material, which allows you to choose the optimal shade that will match the rest of the chewing elements in the dentition.
  • It can be polished almost to a mirror color, it lends itself so well to external processing. This composite material is used in the location of cervical caries, carious cavities of various classes of lateral and anterior teeth.


COMPOUND:

  • Triethylene glycol glycidyl methacrylate, colloidal silicon dioxide, Bisphenol A glycidyl methacrylate, barium aluminum silicate and minor impurities.


PURPOSE:

  • It is used in dental practice to restore the structural integrity, functionality and aesthetic appearance of the frontal and chewing.


CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Denfil has excellent indicators of strength and reliability, with careful operation it is ready to serve for a long time.
  • This dental constructive material has minimal shrinkage during use, does not lose its original color under the influence of an aggressive environment in the oral cavity, is radiopaque, and lends itself well to various types of processing.


INDICATIONS AND CONTRAINDICATIONS:

  • Should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to components of this material or those hypersensitive to methacrylate monomers.
  • Denfil is used to restore chewing elements after they have lost their functionality and integrity under the influence of caries. To use it, you need to brush your teeth with pumice and water to remove stains and extraneous plaques on the surface.
  • If the chewing elements are not the same color, take into account the shade and depth of the restoration. It is advisable to choose a shade after moisturizing. You can also use the Vita shade chart. It is recommended to use a rubber dam to isolate the cavity, which is being restored using this constructive material.


INSTALLATION:

  • After the preparatory work, the usual acid etching should be carried out. It is not recommended to leave residues of amalgam or other false materials on the inner surface of the prepared cavity, as this may impede light transmission and hardening of the restorative composite.
  • To protect the pulp, it is necessary to cover the dentin close to it with a small amount of calcium hydroxide pad, leaving the rest of the cavity free for bonding (BC Plus). If desired, glass ionomers or other non-eugenol backing materials can be used.
  • It is recommended to use wedges prior to insertion of the matrix to achieve slight separation and to promote optimal direct contact between the Denfil and the tooth. Next comes the process of etching the dentin. Removal of the composite material occurs with a syringe or a capsule with a certain amount of Denfil is used.
  • The restorative material is applied and photopolymerized in layers with a maximum thickness of 2.5 mm. Then comes the time for polymerization. Immediately after curing, the surface to be restored is shaped with a finishing bur or carborundum head. The occlusion is carefully corrected by removing excess material with a polishing bur or carborundum head.
